Whatcom Family Village is a community that offers support for hopeful, expectant, and new parents. Find your village through movement classes where your babies and young children are always welcome, or through prenatal education and postpartum circles. We recognize all paths to parenthood and the sacred time that is matrescence.

Who We Are
Whatcom Family Village was created in early 2024 by Julia Zefting, a Bellingham mother of two (soon to be three). Whatcom Family Village instructors and facilitators are a remarkable community of mostly mothers. We hope to provide a space that is welcoming, supportive, and allows for peaceful and powerful transitions into early parenthood. Come join us!
