Pregnancy and postpartum are life-changing seasons—beautiful, challenging, and full of unknowns. Too often, families are handed a packet of hospital information and left to figure out the rest.

The Bump to Baby Prenatal Masterclass is different. It’s not your average childbirth education class. Over eight evenings, you’ll learn from local experts in birth, health, and postpartum care, while building real community with other parents-to-be. Each week includes 30 mins for guided sharing and social connection.

Topics include: fitness and health during pregnancy and postpartum, planning for birth, labor coping techniques, infant care, mental health and postpartum preparation.

We’ll get real. Our providers are passionate about giving you the tools and info so many parents wish they had been told ahead of time.

Together, we’ll help you prepare for birth and the life that follows it.

  • When: Thursdays, 6-7:30 PM. 8 week sessions throughout the year.

  • No. While partners are encouraged to attend together, you are welcome to come on your own or bring other members of your support team.

  • Not at all! Whether it’s your first baby or your third, you’ll benefit from expert guidance and community.

  • If you have to miss a session or two, we’ve got you. All sessions will have accompanying notes, slides, handouts and audio recordings where applicable.

  • We know work schedules might not allow you to join at 5:30, so come as soon as you’re able.

  • Most childbirth classes focus on what happens before baby arrives. Bump to Baby covers the full spectrum—pregnancy health, birth physiology, AND postpartum recovery—while building social support you’ll rely on beyond birth.

  • Whatcom Family Village seeks to offer equitable pricing for all its programs and believes everyone deserves support.
